Equipment repair.
Pump motors, filters, heaters, salt cells, automation panels, plumbing leaks. Most Tampa pools run Pentair, Hayward, or Jandy — we carry the most common failure parts (capacitors, motor seals, salt cell flow switches, heater igniters) on every truck. Diagnosis is free if you're already a weekly customer; one-time repair calls get a fixed diagnostic fee that's credited toward the work.
The honest math: a repair quote from a national chain almost always includes a 30-50% markup on parts plus a separate labor charge plus a trip charge. Our pricing is parts-at-cost plus flat labor — usually $300-$500 cheaper on the same job. We don't make money on parts; we make money on the relationship.

Green-to-clean rescue.
Came home from vacation to a swamp. Skipped a service after a hurricane. Algae bloom after a heavy rainfall. Whatever the cause — we have a four-day clearing protocol that handles roughly 90% of green pools without draining. That matters because draining a Tampa pool risks structural damage from the high water table, and a refill plus restart is its own multi-day expense.
Day 1: shock + brush + initial filtration. Day 2: chemistry adjust + clarifier. Day 3: vacuum settled debris + filter clean. Day 4: balance + final clarity check. Then we hand you a clean pool and an honest conversation: if your usage warrants it, we move you onto weekly. If not, we don't push it. Equipment install.
Variable-speed pump upgrades are the highest-ROI improvement you can make to a Tampa pool — they cut energy bills 60-80% versus old single-speed pumps and pay back in 18-24 months. Florida code now requires VS pumps for any new install or major replacement, and a lot of older Tampa pools are still running pre-2015 single-speed motors.

Inspection & acid wash.
Buying a Tampa house with a pool? A real pool inspection is not a five-minute walk-around. We do a 90-minute pre-purchase inspection that covers equipment age and condition, plumbing pressure-test for leaks, surface condition (looking for hairline cracks, hollow tile, plaster failure), chemistry history if the seller has records, and a written report you can take to negotiation. Our inspections have caught $4K-$15K of needed repairs that the seller's listing never disclosed.
Acid wash is a separate service for surface staining (calcium scaling, organic stains from leaves, mineral discoloration). We drain partial, treat the affected areas with muriatic acid, neutralize, and refill. Most jobs done in 6-8 hours. Done right, surface staining doesn't return for years; done wrong, it eats into the plaster and shortens the pool's life.

Snowbird watch.
If you head north for the summer, your pool still needs care — and Tampa hurricane season runs June through November, exactly when most snowbirds are away. Our snowbird watch program is built specifically for seasonal residents: we run a tightened-up service while you're gone, prep for storms, and have your pool swim-ready the day you fly back in.
Standard package: bi-weekly chemistry balance, weekly equipment check, hurricane prep within 48 hours of any named storm, post-storm cleanup including debris and chemistry restoration, photo report sent every two weeks. Premium tier adds full weekly maintenance equivalent and house-watch perimeter check (mail pickup, trash bin in/out, package retrieval). About 20% of our customer base is snowbird — we built the program around what they actually need.
