Every protocol below is field-tested in Tampa Bay conditions — high humidity, sandy soil, year-round breeding cycles. We don't run a generic playbook here. We don't subcontract. EPA-certified applicators, written warranties, no contracts.
Tampa Bay sits inside the heaviest termite-pressure zone in the continental US. Two swarm seasons per year, sandy soil that lets colonies spread fast, and humidity that keeps them active twelve months. By the time you see swarmers in your kitchen window, the colony has been there 3 to 5 years. We do not guess.
Free probe inspection first — moisture meter, mud-tube hunt under the slab, attic and crawl-space check. If we find activity, we run a liquid termiticide barrier (non-repellent Termidor) plus in-ground bait stations every 10 feet around the perimeter. Both treatments work together. The barrier kills foragers; the stations destroy the colony.
If you can't sit on your patio after 5pm from May to October, you don't have a mosquito problem — you have an ecosystem problem. We treat the breeding zones, not just the air. Backpack misting on the underside of bushes, low foliage, retention pond edges, anywhere the females rest during the heat of the day.
For yards with persistent breeding, we add In2Care stations — they kill larvae in standing water you can't even see (gutters, plant saucers, A/C drip pans). 21-day cycle. Most customers report 80%+ reduction by the second visit. All formulations pet-safe and child-safe once dry.
Tampa has all four problem species: German (kitchens, bathrooms), American (sewers, drains), Smoky brown (palm trees, outdoor lights), and Asian (lawns, sliding into houses at night). Each one requires a different bait, a different placement, a different cycle. Most companies run one product on every job. We don't.
Step one: ID the species and find the harborage. Step two: gel bait directly into cracks where they actually live, not sprayed on baseboards where they don't. Step three: insect growth regulator (IGR) for the egg cases, because spray won't penetrate them. Step four: 30-day callback included. If they're back, so are we.
Tampa's rat is the roof rat — not the Norway rat you see in northern cities. Roof rats don't burrow; they climb. They run power lines, oak branches, palm-tree trunks, and they enter through soffit gaps the size of a quarter. Bait alone never works. They die in your wall cavity and the smell takes six weeks to clear.
Our protocol: snap traps in the attic and accessible crawl spaces (we monitor weekly), then we close every entry point. Soffit vents, fascia gaps, dryer vents, A/C line penetrations, roof seams. Hardware cloth and copper mesh, not foam. Then we pull the contaminated insulation if it's bad enough and replace it.
Bed bugs in 2026 are largely resistant to pyrethroid sprays. Chemical treatment alone takes 3 to 5 visits and often misses egg cases. Heat doesn't. We bring the affected room to 135°F for a sustained 90 minutes — every life stage dies, including eggs, in one visit. Most jobs done in a single day.
Optional canine inspection before treatment to confirm activity and pinpoint hot spots. Important if you live in an apartment or condo and need documentation for the building. We work with Tampa's two NESDCA-certified bed bug detection K-9 handlers when the situation calls for it.
The 95% of pest pressure that's not an emergency. Once we've cleared an active infestation, we keep the perimeter sealed year-round with four scheduled visits — each one tuned to what's actually breeding that season in Tampa Bay, not a generic national calendar.
Spring (March): termite probe inspection, ant pre-treatment. Summer (June): mosquito intensification, wasp removal. Fall (September): rodent exclusion check, palmetto bug treatment. Winter (December): interior crack-and-crevice, attic monitor. Same technician every visit. Skip a quarter, no problem. Cancel anytime, no contract.
Tell us what you're seeing — termites in the doorframe, roaches at night, mosquitoes in the yard, rats in the attic, or you just want a clean perimeter check. Inspection is genuinely free with no obligation.
